Warren Polglase seems to have a point when he concludes the candidate with the majority of primary votes should be considered for mayor. One can only wonder why he didn’t apply the same argument to Cr Katie Milne who won a clear majority of first preferences at the 2008 Council Election. My memory could be faulty, but I can’t remember Warren Polglase recommending Cr Milne for the Mayoral Chair. One size doesn’t appear to fit all !
