Why o why, Whyalla?
You know I’m an honest Labor fella
Just doing his best
to feather our nest —
We’re all in this mess together!
I certainly aver
I created a stir
with karaoke and amateur shuffle
Just to show you out there
There was nothing to fear
from the Carbon Tax kerfuffle.
So why did I do it if there’s nothing to fear?
I really can’t help it, you see,
It’s the ALP ethic, it’s rather pathetic
and encourages people to flee.
Never you mind! Through thick and thin,
I’ll persist with my spin —
and then you’ll have to agree:
the more tax the better
taxed to the letter
Especially for Labor and me.
