Tweed residents and property owners are being invited to provide feedback on the format of council’s new water bills, with a community survey launched this week.
Approximately 23,500 Tweed households and businesses have received the new-look bills since June and council is seeking community input to help finetune the format.
“The new format was adopted to give home and business owners a clear and comprehensive picture of how much water they are using, what it is costing them and how they can avoid wasting water and money,” council Manager of Water, Anthony Burnham said.
“Now we want those customers to tell us what they think of the bill and how we can improve it, so it is more informative and an even better tool to help curb water consumption.”
An online version of the survey is available on council’s website at www.tweed.nsw.gov.au and printed copies are available at council’s offices in Murwillumbah and Tweed Heads and the libraries in Kingscliff, Tweed Heads and Murwillumbah.
