On Saturday, October 27, the exhibition of graduating students from the Queensland College of Art at Griffith University Gold Coast opens at Gold Coast City Gallery.
This annually anticipated display provides insight into contemporary art practice on the Gold Coast. The 2012 group of students employ varying media and subject matter, yet are predominantly concerned with their future once they leave formal studies; the new experiences and how they will change from what they once were.
QCA continues to nurture some of Queensland’s most creative talent, with many of its graduates going on to exhibit at state and national level. Gold Coast City Gallery has hosted the exhibition since 2000. For the Gold Coast, the students’ presence and participation contributes to our city’s developing visual culture.
