I must agree with the letter from Arch Barton regarding the voting systems in use in Australia today. If you have more than one accomplice, then make yourself into a party and then let the voters just put a one above the line and let you think for them. A true independent doesn’t stand a chance anymore. Voting has been reduced to catering for the lowest thinking voters who will let “The Party” elect whoever they want.
