Opera’s legendary Dame Kiri Te Kanawa is coming to the Coast for a one-night-only, once in a lifetime experience.
The world famous soprano performs her operatic genius In Recital at The Arts Centre Gold Coast on Monday, March 11, 7.30pm.
Years of international experience have brought an amalgamation of cultures to each of her performances.
Having performed such operas as Mozart’s well-renowned Don Giovanni, Le Nozze di Figaro and Cosí fan Tutte, Dame Kiri is universally acclaimed for her beautiful performances and depth of musical intelligence.
She became a Dame Commander of the British Empire in 1982 and, after 40 years, is still a major influential artist.
She sang at His Royal Highness Prince Charles’ wedding in St Paul’s Cathedral. Dame Kiri was the most featured artist throughout 2000 on the global telecast TODAY live.
