Linking up with music

Who: Tweed Links Music Club

Where: Coolangatta- Tweed Links Golf Club

When: First Sunday of every month

The Tweed Links Music Club is thrilled to announce that once again they have secured the talent of Paul Hayman as Featured Artist for their March, 2013 Concert.

Paul was very warmly received at his last appearance with the Club and he is eager to showcase his talents once again.

As well as being a singer and a showman whose vocal diversity spans almost all genres of music, Paul also trained as an actor, has played in several short films and has had major roles in three full length feature films, with more feature projects planned for this year.

He has recently released one full-length album which includes both re-worked arrangements of previous EP releases and original material. A second album comprising jazz standards and Aussie Classics is planned to be completed later this year.

Other artists for the March concert include Jeremy and Ben Beamish, the multi-talented sons of Tweed’s own Liza Beamish. The boys will be playing flute and guitar and also singing. Marie Hay, another wonderful vocalist is also appearing.

The Tweed Links Dancers will add some additional sparkle to the program and President, Bob Green, will add his usual uniqueness as Compere.

All artists are accompanied by The Tweed Links Quartet regulars including Jed Stone on keyboards, Jean Stone on double bass, Owen Smith on drums and Peter McHutchison on clarinet and sax.

The Tweed Links Music Club proudly presents monthly musical shows at the Coolangatta-Tweed Links Golf Club (main auditorium), South Tweed Heads, on the first Sunday of each month, commencing at 2.00pm (DST.)

Bookings are unnecessary. Tickets are $6 for Golf Club members, and $10 for non-members. The shows start at 2pm (NSW). For further details, please contact Jean on 07 5590 5778.
