Lifebridge East conducts seminars

Two key members of Hearthstone Alzheimer Care USA were on the Tweed this week conducting one of two seminars.

The duo, Michael Skrajner and Jodie Berman, were conducting talks on the Montessori method of programming for people with dementia.

The pair are key members of a team that developed the innovative use of Montessori principles to improve the lives of persons living with dementia.

The two seminars were for industry workers and were held this week in Ballina and Tweed.

The seminar focused on Hearthstone’s I’m Still Here Montessori-inspired activity program and was run here on the Tweed in conjuction with Lifebridge East Inc – which is a not-for-profit community organisation commited to providing cutting-edge programs for frail aged and people with dementia.

This methodology has been researched for more than 15 years and field tested extensively at Hearthstone’s Assisted Living Residences.
