THE Watoto Choir – made up of orphaned children from Uganda, will return to the Tweed on Tuesday for what promises to be two inspirational concerts.
The choir – which visited the area two years ago – are due in our area on Tuesday 4 June.
A 30-minute concert will be held Kingscliff Public School at 11.30am-noon, great for mature people to be blessed and inspired with traditional costumes, music and dance.
The evening concert will be held at 6.30pm at 9 Hall Drive Murwillumbah.
Organiser Rev Craig Blackburn of the Kingscliff Uniting Church said the second event would be a “good opportunity for families to hear the songs and stories of the children”.
