THE Saltbar Supper Club has been hailed as a success with more than 90 people coming in to see North Coast singer Lil’ Fi in action last Thursday night.
“Last night was great – people loved it,” Supper Club organiser, comedian and mum Mandy Noland said.
“They said they were thrilled that it was happening and couldn’t wait for the next one.
“I have a comedy hypnotist booked for 12 September which is the next one.”
So what has she learned from the inaugural supper club event?
“I think I learnt that people love a good laugh, but then I knew that!” she laughed.
“I think there is a large unserviced audience in that area who are really looking for something interesting and not entirely conventional.
“They’re sophisticated and want something a bit urban.”
