Lindisfarne boys make some noise

By TANIA PHILLIPS

THREE Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School Year 12 music students could be on their way to stardom.
The trio, Jackson Boyle, Jack Boyd and Chris Slade are competitors in the annual Triple J Unearthed High competition.
The talented musicians have entered their band ‘Noise Makes Sound’ in the prestigious event and are already garnering a lot of interest.
The band, featuring Jackson on lead vocals and guitar, Jack on backing vocalist, bass guitar and lead guitar and drummer Chris Slade, has been playing together for two years.
They draw their influences from a variety of music styles but the boys say their sound has a strong leaning towards th alternative indie rock scene.
Former Lindisfarne Grammar student, Liam Kriz recorded the two tracks for the band’s entry into the competition which has the potential to fast track a music career.
