Titillating tale

ONE Gold Coast man, a kite and a bright pink ’boob sled’ crossing Antarctica … promoting breast awareness and aiming to raise $1million for the McGrath Foundation.
Dr Geoff Wilson, an adventurous Gold Coaster, and Kate Carlyle, journalist and two-time breast cancer survivor, are holding their next Polar Expedition Fund-raising Luncheon at Saltbar Beachbar and Bistro on Friday 16 August at 12 noon.
Join Dr Wilson, Mrs Carlyle and McGrath Foundation Ambassador Tracy Bevan at Saltbar Beachbar and Bistro to hear the story of how the Pink Polar Expedition and the ‘boob sled’ were born, enjoy a fashion parade by Sunburn, entertainment by comedian Mandy Nolan, fund-raising fun and a delicious buffet luncheon including two-hour basic drinks package.
The Pink Polar Expedition aims to raise $1 million to support the McGrath Foundation’s mission to fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia and to increase breast awareness in young women.
There will be a few raffle prizes as well as a chance to pose with the Boob Sled or to show off your Pink Proudly!
