Clubbies Corner with Tania Phillips
SALT will hold it’s carnvial this weekend. They have been coming thick and fast in recent weeks with the Cudgen Classic and Cabarita senior carnival last weekend and now the Salt junior event on Sunday.
Salt have had a great start to the 2013/14 season already – starting two weeks earlier this year. The club has moved to a later morning start for 2013 (Sunday 8.45am) which has been a hit with their Brisbane members who make the long trip down each weekend. There have been a number of new members this season as the construction of new homes in the area speeds up.
The club is running programs for under-6s through to under-19s and there is still plenty of room and time for anyone who is contemplating joining to come down and join in.
For more information, please check out their website, www.saltsurfclub.com.au or contact nippers@saltsurfclub.com.au
The senior branch team to contest the inter-branch has been named with the 12 to14s to be announced after the junior branch carnival this Sunday at Salt.
Training sessions will be held on Saturday afternoons at Byron Bay on 17 November and at Cudgen on 7 December.
