They came in their hundreds, in all shapes and sizes – and most of them had a dog in tow.
The Tweed branch of the RSPCA held a Million Paws Walk at Jack Bayliss Park, Kingscliff.
More than 350 dogs and 470 humans took part in the event – a major fundraiser for the RSPCA and a chance to get out for a bit of a “walkies” in the sun.
It is the third time that a Tweed event has been held and it continues to grow
every year.
Dogs of every size and variety took their owners out for a walk in the sun. It was a chance to learn about all the work that the organisation does in this area and around Australia – and to dress up and have a
bit of fun!
