THE folk at Cabarita Beach Bogangar have been coming up with some pretty inventive fund-raisers to help Max Lee since his accident in Greece earlier this year.
However, the current fund-raiser, to be held this Saturay at 3pm at Cabarita Beach Hotel is sure to bring home the bacon – literally.
The latest fund-raiser is pig racing! Yes pig racing.
This will be a chance to come along and cheer on the curly tails as well as helping 20-year-old Max and his family after his spinal injury in August this year.
There will be sponsored and Calcutta-style races, sweeps, raffles, sausage sizzles and facepainting on the day.
It will be an afternoon of live music and porcine champions.
