HAVE your self a crafty little Christmas. So say the artisans at Tweed Unlimited Arts, Banora Point. The group which includes local potters, painters, spinners and weavers, embroiderers and quilters will hold their Christmas Craft event this weekend. “Be crafty this Christmas and support your local community of artists and craft persons and surprise your friends, family and loved ones with something original, beautiful, useful and Australian made,” group spokeswoman Margaret Hunter said. As well as plenty of things to buy there will be displays of the artisans in action.
