FORGET Santa – Pete Murray is coming to town and it doesn’t matter if you’ve been naughty or nice – his tickets have gone on sale just in time for Christmas.
The North Coast’s own Murray has just added Twin Towns to his recently announced ‘Feeler 10 Year anniversary tour’ hitting the Tweed on 21 February (in time for the Quik Silver Pro).
The recently announced Pete Murray ‘Feeler’ tour is headed cross-country on the strength of his city shows selling like hotcakes.
With his original band The Stonemasons in tow, Pete looks forward to delighting music fans across the nation and here at home.
Ten years ago, Pete Murray released his definitive album Feeler in Australia. It marked the end of his promising sporting career and the dawn of a hugely successful music career.
The ‘Feeler’ album reached number one on the national ARIA charts, sold over seven platinum albums, was nominated for 12 ARIA awards and spent over two and half years – yes years – in the Top 100.
A decade later, the album tracks are still in the hearts and souls of many Australians, so Pete has released a 10-year anniversary edition of this milestone album, re-mastered at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. It also includes a bonus CD featuring the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra performing Feeler in full, mixed with original album masters.
The show hits Tweed Towns on Friday 21 February. Ticket info: www.twintowns.com.au or www.oztix.com.au, call 1300 762 545.
