TODAY is international volunteers day and Lifebridge at Kingscliff is going all out to let their volunteers know they are appreciated.
Lifebridge is a non-profit organisation which has been providing a range of support programs to the Tweed community since 1987. With the help of Volunteers they provide disability, aged and dementia services.
Lifebridge is incredibly fortunate to have more than 80 volunteers working with them in all areas of work.
In recognition of the tremendous value the community receives from volunteers, Lifebridge is celebrating International Volunteers day in the beautiful gardens of “The Cottage”, Cudgen Road, Kingscliff.
Morning tea will be held from 10am today and it’s a chance to meet these interesting and generous people and find out what the bridge is all about.
Together with the Volunteers the group people in the Tweed regain or maintain their independence and live as full a life as possible.
For more information please contact Bronwyn Mitchell, aged and dementia services manager, on 02 6674 2267.
