ARMIDALE Rifle Club members held their annual Presentation Dinner at the Wicklow Hotel on Saturday Night.
It was a great night to celebrate the clubs achievements and catch up with club members.
The trophies this year were won by the following:
The New England Memorial Club: Stuart Cleghorn scoring 1,186-79.
The F-Class Standard A Grade Championship Trophy: Glenn Motley scoring 1,398-65.
The Matthews Marksman Trophy: Stuart Cleghorn scoring 339-24.
The Wollomombi Cup: John McClenaghan scoring 398-26.
The NSW Rifle Association Medal for Target Rifle: Stuart Cleghorn scoring 399-24.
The NSW Rifle Association Medal for F Class Standard: David Willis scoring 478-14.
The Finlayson Cup (Wollomombi Cup): Stuart Cleghorn scoring 305-21.
The Charlie Gardiner Trophy: Stuart Cleghorn scoring 607-40.
The Richardson Cup: Stuart Cleghorn scoring 401-25.
The George Magann Long Range Trophy: Don Foster scoring 396-25.
The Ron Campbell Memorial Perpetual Shield: Derry Crisp for contributing most to the club this year.
(Wollomombi Rifle Club) The Richardson Cup: David Willis scoring 120-1.
The Armidale Rifle Club F Class Standard B Grade Championship Trophy: Derry Crisp scoring 462-19.
The Geoff Missen Trophy F Class Standard: David Willis scoring 720-26.
The Jack Knight Trophy F Class Standard Junior Championship: Grace Motley scoring 446-8.
Sue Motley, the previous secretary, was also presented with flowers thanking her for her wonderful support and effort in the role over the last three years.
Overall, it was a great night and everyone enjoyed the lovely meal. Armidale Rifle Club would like to thank The Wicklow Hotel for their help in arranging the venue and to the treasurer Bob Thrift for his wonderful organising of the event.
