Catch a spot in skills camp

FORMER Australian fast bowler Nathan Bracken will be in Armidale next month to head a cricket coaching camp.
Bracken will visit the city in the school holidays as part of the coaching panel of Shaun Brown’s Country Cricket Clinic.
Brown, who has been running camps across Australia for more than two decades, said Bracken would bring plenty of expertise to Armidale.
“Nathan is one of the best junior coaches in the business and it’s fantastic that we have him on board for this year’s camp,” he said.
Bracken played five Tests for Australia and 116 one day internationals.
He will be joined in Armidale by Geoff Dymock.
“Geoff is an excellent coach who has worked with us before with great results,” Brown said.
Dymock played 21 Test matches for Australia, taking 78 wickets at an average of 27.12.
The highlight of Dymock’s career came when he topped the bowling averages in 1979-80, ahead of cricketing legends Dennis Lillee and Jeff Thomson.
The camp will be held in Armidale on 13-14 January from 9am to 3pm each day.
All clinics feature the use of video analysis, a comprehensive program and written reports.
