AFTER a 24-hour search, a missing Armidale teenager was found yesterday at luncthime.
Concerned family members raised the alarm with Armidale police on Monday after 16-year-old Emma Pietsch left her home between 4.30 and 7.30am without telling anyone.
Police and parents said they had serious concerns for her welfare because she hadn’t been seen since.
A member of the public saw her in a section of bushland on Jessie Street in Armidale yesterday and reported it to police.
Inspector Chris McKinnon said Emma appeared to be in good health, although was taken to Armidale Hospital for a medical assessment.
