PARENTS from all over the countryside joined their daughters at PLC Armidale for the school’s family tennis afternoon.
Students of all ages enjoyed valuable social time with their mums and dads, which included some friendly banter on the tennis courts.
Winners of the tround robin tennis competitions were Mark and Maddy Taylor, Lana and Maddison Bromwich and Brendan and Emily Peet.
Following the tennis, families enjoyed a picnic-style dinner on the school oval before settling in to watch How to Train Your Dragon on the big screen.
The fund-raiser run by PLC Parents and Friends proved to be a valuable welcome for new students and families to the school.
