THREE of Armidale’s brightest prospects have been selected in the prestigious Cricket NSW Academy for the Central North Zone.
Just three under-14s players were selected for the zone and two came from Armidale’s representative team.
Henry Sindel, a keen all-rounder who bowls pace, was selected with wicketkeeper Henry Smith.
Talented under-17 cricketer Lochlan Elks, who played for Hillgrove’s first grade side all season, was also selected for the academy.
Twenty four players from the region were chosen from the zone, which includes Tamworth, Inverell, Moree and most places in between.
