THERE’S a new face in the Armidale Independent team, with Matt Nicholls taking over the editorial reins this week.
He replaces long-serving managing editor Jo Harrison, who has spent the past seven years as a dedicated member of the Independent team.
Matt said he was looking forward to getting back in touch with the Armidale community, having previously worked in the Armidale media.
“This is a great country town that has a lot to offer and there’s always a great story to tell,” he said.
“I plan on continuing the good work of Jo Harrison and adding a few extra things where possible.
“I’d love to hear feedback on what readers think could be done to improve the paper and perhaps what they’d like to see more or less of.”
