HOLLY Harris has boosted her reputation as one of the best mountain bike riders in the country, winning the under-23 title at the national championships in Victoria.
On the back of her two under-19 gongs, Harris had no trouble with her step up in age group, blitzing her rivals in Bright.
She is now off to New Zealand this week to compete in the Oceania Championships, which start at Mt Hutt on the South Island, about 80 kilometres west of Christchurch.
Harris’ success in Bright capped off a great week for the New England Mountain Bike Club.
Katherine Hosking won gold in the under-15 division, while clubmates Emily Wooster and Isabella Hosking finished third and fourth respectively.
The boys also performed well, with under-17 riders Michael Harris (third) and Jack Feltham (eighth) mixing it with the best in their division.
