THE PLC Armidale Foundation’s annual Successful Women’s event will be held on Wednesday 26 March in recognition of International Women’s Day.
The event, now in its fourth year, continues to inspire generations of businesswomen, community representatives and school students from all over the New England and North West region.
Last year, the large audience was inspired by former Australian netball captain Liz Ellis,
This year’s speaker is Jeannine Biviano, the 2013 Telstra Business Woman of the Year recipient.
Ms Biviano, one of the most senior women in the state’s public sector, was appointed Deputy Director-General of the NSW Department of Trade and Investment in 2008 and manages a $2.5 billion budget and 8000 staff.
The event, which includes a networking lunch and presentation, will be held at the Armidale Bowling Club on 26 March from 11.30am.
Funds raised support the work of the PLC Armidale Foundation, which provides educational opportunities for students by providing scholarships, as well as support for school capital works.
