Members of the Armidale community are invited to attend the fundraising launch for the Armidale Dumaresq Civic Precinct Project – comprising a new War Memorial Library, new Armidale Regional Performing Arts Centre and refurbished Armidale Town Hall.
The launch is to be held on Thursday, November 17, commencing at 6pm in the Town Hall.
The project will be officially launched by the Member of Northern Tableland, The Hon Richard Torbay MLA.
The agenda for the evening will include an introduction of the Armidale Dumaresq Civic Precinct Committee and the unveiling of plans for this exciting project, which will revitalise the Central Business District of the city, confirming Armidale’s position as the No1 centre for Education and the Arts in regional Australia.
There will also be an opportunity for the community to ask questions and express support for the project.
