On the same weekend as the Uralla Food & Wine Festival, there will be a Garden & Wine Trail along Tourist Drive 19 on Sunday, April 22.
The Trail, which is being held as a fundraiser for NERAM, will provide rare access to some of the area’s earliest gardens, including those at Palmerston, Mihi Station and Gostwyck Station. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a taste of local wines at Peterson’s Winery and Mihi Creek Vineyard en route.
There is an entry fee of $6 per garden or four gardens for $20, payable on the day, or tickets for the group of gardens can be obtained in advance at NERAM, which includes a map. Plant sales, music, sculptures and a homeware stall will be just some of the extra attractions. Teas and lunches will be available at Mihi Station provided by the Enmore Fire Brigade. Gardens open from 10am to 4pm.
