SMALL schools at altitude celebrated their school leaders at a luncheon in Guyra last week organised by the Highland small schools community.
The Acting Schools Education Director Jo Burgess attended the luncheon, along with principals and school leaders from Black Mountain, Ebor, Ben Lomond, Guyra, Bald Blair and Chandler.
Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall spoke to the gathering about leadership, his earlier years in school and his move into politics.
He also talked about the meaning of true leadership which to him meant working with people, listening carefully to understand their needs and developing good relationships.
