CHANNEL Seven breakfast show Sunrise will be in Armidale tomorrow morning to broadcast the opening stages of charity bike ride Tour de Rocks.
The annual fundraiser, which is part of Tour de Cure, supports cancer research and is expected to raise more than $250,000.
More than 300 cyclists will leave the Armidale Ex-Services Club tomorrow morning on their journey to South West Rocks on the coast, near Kempsey.
They will arrive on Saturday after splitting the ride into three sections of 93km, 68km and 67km.
A special Anzac Day service will be held at George’s Junction, the first overnight destination.
Tour de Rocks chairman Bill Wheeler said he was hoping for a big crowd to farewell the riders at the Ex-Services club tomorrow morning from around 7am.
