Earlier trains help connect

THE new NSW TrainLink timetable will commence 20 October, 2013, which will see the daily Armidale to Sydney service depart and arrive slightly earlier.
Member for the Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall said, as promised, there would be no loss of service, just a change of schedule.
“In July I received assurances from Transport Minister Gladys Berejiklian that far from cutting services the government intended to deliver rural and regional NSW with the public transport they deserve,” he said.
“The daytime Xplorer train servicing Armidale will leave and arrive in Sydney 20 minutes earlier than the previous timetable and allow passengers more time to make connections to other trains and buses.
“Connecting coach services in this region will also be adjusted to maintain connections with the new Xplorer timetable.”
The 10.05am Sydney to Armidale/Moree service will now depart Central Station at 9.29am, 36 minutes earlier than the previous timetable, and arrive in Armidale at 5.35pm.
The 9am Armidale to Sydney service will now depart at 8.40am and arrive into Sydney at 4.38pm.
Customers can check the timetable changes by returning to the place where they originally purchased their ticket, visiting the NSW TrainLink website, or calling 132 232.
