A BRIEF will be prepared for the Coroner following the death of a young man in a single-vehicle crash near Uralla.
Emergency services were called to the New England Highway, five kilometres north of Uralla, about 6.15am on Thursday 19 September.
Early investigations indicate a utility travelling south left the roadway, entered a table drain and crashed into an embankment.
The 21-year-old driver and the only occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
Motorists are urged to take care in the area, as police redirect traffic and investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
