Chamber spills, fills for future

ARMIDALE District Business Chamber has a new look leadership group following its annual general meeting last Friday.
Long-time member Susan Cull has stepped up to take the role of president, replacing Andrew Murray as the head of the chamber.
Ms Cull will be supported by vice-president Carol Mackerras, secretary Keiran Breckenridge and treasurer Alice Chen.
Others on the management committee include Leo Bayerlein, Peter Rickard, Robert Moylan, Peter Georkas, Kate Richards, Robert Moylan, Don Tydd and Peter Sniekers.
Ms Cull said it was important the chamber worked towards engaging businesses in Armidale and bring innovative ideas to the city.
“It really is about collaboration with all interested parties,” she said.
“We all want the same thing and that is to make Armidale a thriving city.”
The chamber’s executive officer Tracy Predergast said she was looking forward to working with the new management committee.
“The new group brings together a wealth of business experience from Armidale and beyond – as well as new ideas and energy to help energise, inspire and grow Armidale’s business community,” she said.
