SECTIONS of the Northern Tablelands copped a soaking on Monday, with up to 76 millimetres of rain falling in some parts of the region.
Armidale missed out on much of the rain, with 22mm recorded in the CBD and 19mm at the airport, but 33mm fell at Wollomombi.
Further north, 76mm fell at Guyra, while 57mm was recorded at Glen Innes.
Bureau of Meteorology observer Les Lever said Armidale residents could expect more rain this week.
“There’s certainly more on the horizon and you should expect rain every day this week.”
