The Armidale Cancer Support Group will be meeting again on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from 10am-12pm.
The group meets upstairs at the Wicklow Hotel, the venue being kindly donated. There will be morning tea available, donated by Moxons Bakery. The group is for anyone over the age of 18 years who has or has had a diagnosis of cancer.
The group aims to provide emotional support, sharing the common experience of cancer, learn some coping strategies and to meet other people. There will be a guest speaker every 2nd month. This month is a general support group. The support group meets the first Wednesday of every month. If you would like any further information, please contact Fiona Ord, Oncology Social worker.
