THE Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place will open a special Christmas exhibition tomorrow at 6pm.
The local and surrounding communities are invited to attend the official opening at the centre.
Works from a range of Aboriginal artists will be exhibited in a special exhibition called, Nothing Over $300.
A group of 25 Aboriginal artists from Kamilaroi, Bundjalung, Wailwan, Pitta Pitta, Yuin, Gumbaynnjarr and Wiradjuri nations have contributed their works allowing the community to experience the diversity of NSW Aboriginal art in this one special exhibition.
Visitors will be able to view works with a variety of styles and themes.
Some of the artists are experienced and established, such as Lloyd Hornsby and Brian Irving, who have kindly allowed their works to be sold for under $300.
Lloyd Hornsby’s art has become a great attraction for international and national investors and art lover.
Brian Irving has been finalist five times in the Parliament of NSW Art Award and has won many other awards and competitions.
If the community would like to grab a bargain in time for Christmas, this is their opportunity to purchase something uniquely Australian.
Buyers will be able to take their purchase with them and will not be required to wait for the exhibition to finish.
