THE Armidale Branch of The Country Womens’ Association has a new executive following its Annual General Meeting held last week.
Incoming president Elizabeth Forsyth welcomed Meg Nicol as secretary, and Eileen Mitchell as treasurer.
The retiring executive officers President Emmie Forge, Secretary Jenny Sholl, and Treasurer Bev Roobol, were thanked for their leadership over the past three years.
Other office bearers for the coming year are vice presidents Emmie Forge and Jenny Sholl, agriculture and environment officer Helen Browning, land cookery officer Faye Gosling, cultural officers Sue Denison and Aline Christenson, handicraft officer Jan Golding, international officer Jenny Sholl, and OHS officer Meg Sadler.
Meetings are held monthly on the third Thursday of the month at 2pm at the CWA Hall, Rusden Street Armidale and new members and visitors are always welcome.
