STUDENTS and staff from PLC Armidale recently visited the Maternity and Children’s Ward at the Armidale Hospital bearing gifts.
They presented the hospital staff with six framed colour prints to brighten the hospital corridors and environment.
“The six very different prints were created by students in the PLC Junior School as part of this year’s PLC Masterpiece program,” Head of PLC Junior School Mrs Melissa Watters said.
“We decided that those that weren’t sold we would donate to a worthy cause.
“So someone suggested that they would brighten the days of the sick children in hospital as well as mums and families who visit the maternity ward,” she said.
“Our girls were absolutely thrilled and very proud to think that they would be on display at the hospital.”
