A waterfall of colour descended upon Banora Oasis pool on Tuesday, February 7, for Centaur primary’s annual swimming carnival.
House groups chanted war-cries in support for their goggle clad team members who took to the blocks.
Under the barrage of arms and legs water broke in waves across the pool as race after race produced triumphant winners and participation points.
A great night was had by all with fun on the top of the agenda, earning team points a certainty and a top-three placing the bonus throughout the twilight carnival.
Combined spirited support amongst the students, staff and families ensured a celebratory atmosphere.
Age Champions of the night were Ashley Webb and James Denny (8-10 yrs), Indiah Miller and Isaac Moloney (11 yrs) and Lillee Attenborough-Doyle (12-13yrs) with a tie between Jordan Kempnich and Joshua Feng-Majerovic (12-13 yrs).
The overall Champions were the Colefax team (white house).
