Drummond School defeated Sandon School 5-4 in their PSSA clash at Phil Wheaton Oval last Thursday.
Drawn at full-time, the game went into extra time, with Drummond claiming the only goal during extra time, to take the victory.
Drummond coach Alexander Moir was pleased with his side’s performance.
“The boys had a great time and it was terrific to have a win,” said Mr Moir.
“They are a pretty inexperienced side, with only two or three boys playing soccer on a regular basis, so it was good for them today.”
