Tweed River High School’s Under 14 Rugby League team continued their winning streak with another convincing win on Tuesday, Sept 4 in the state-wide Combined High Schools Buckley Shield competition on our home grounds.
This was the semi-final match against Port Hacking High School, (southern Sydney) and TRHS ran out winners 32-0, in a hard fought game. Mr Jace Wood, teacher and team coach, said, “The boys played extremely well, with tight defence and great teamwork and deserved this win and their chance in the grand final.”
The grand final was played at Toyota Stadium, Sydney (Shark Park) yesterday, Wednesday September 12. Their opposition was Kiama High School. (No results before going to print.)
