Bogangar’s Table Tennis playing family the Townsends continue to shine in their chosen sport.
Just a week after seven-year-old Danni-Elle made her mark at her first NSW Junior Championships, older brothers Wade and Kane are back in the action.
The talented duo are currently away at the Australian Open Table Tennis Championships.
The titles, which started last Saturday, conclude on Friday.
The event is part of the build-up to the Olympic Trials for 21-year-old Wade and 18-year-old Kane who are both hoping to be part of the Australian contingent for the Olympic Games in London next year.
Wade has just returned from representing Australia at the world championships in the Netherland while Kane has recently returned from a World Junior Circuit Event in Guam – where he added two silver medals to the family’s extensive trophy case.
