TWIN Towns Derby Brats will defend their history-making win when they take on the Digi Dodgers at Epic Skate rink on Sunday 21 July, at 10am.
In April, derby history was made with the first ever inter-league Junior Roller Derby game being played between the Twin Towns Derby Brats and the Digi Dodgers in Brisbane.
These two teams have set the bar high for a new sport that in the past was dominated by adults only.
Junior derby has abbreviated rules, spills and thrills just like the adults.
The girls and boys are aged between 7 and 17 years and are divided into age divisions for game day.
“It’s now time to for TTDB to show the Dodgers our home turf with a rematch scheduled for the 21 July,” Leanne McMahon of Epic Skate said.
“Come down and be part of the Junior Roller Derby Revolution.
“We will have stalls, face painting and sausage sizzle as well as the game.”
