The Tweed Heads Club Championships were held on Saturday, September 15 and Sunday, September 16.
There were twelve events played, with a total of 82 entries.
Grace Hyde was the standout player, winning the triple crown by taking out the Ladies’ Singles, Ladies’ Doubles and Mixed Doubles titles.
Dave Martin won the prestigous Men’s Championship Singles and then backed up with Paul Schneider to also win the Men’s Doubles.
President Bob Tindale thanked all players for supporting the first Club Championships in ten years and, going on its success, was sure the Championships would now be an annual event.
Bob presented excellent trophies to the winners and runners-up.
Parents and supporters witnessed some excellent tennis and enjoyed a lunchtime barbecue.
