Group playoffs at West Tamworth
THE New England ladies contested their group playoffs at West Tamworth last week however they were unsuccessful in winning their way to the state finals at Tuncurry.
The triples team of Dawn Fuller, Nanette Jemmeson and Dossie O’Connell played well to reach the final however they lost 10-20 to the Lighting Ridge ladies.
It’s the men’s turn now and first up is the triples team of Chris Kliendienst, Braden Sole and Steven Sole who travel to Tamworth City for their playoffs and we wish them luck.

Malcolm Ahoy club champ at Servies
CONGRATULATIONS to Malcolm Ahoy who is the new club champion at the Services club. Mal defeated Ron Pennell 31-18 in Sunday’s final.
Mal will now go on to the district final and all clubs are advised if they wish to contest the district finals then they must finish their major pairs and singles on an urgent basis.
