New jerseys for Uralla juniors

Uralla Junior Rugby League Club travelled to Bingara for the first round of competition.
Under 8s went down in a great game for these young players with a lot playing their first games. Best and fairest, Zac Walters, Bailey Thackway and Jakab Watts. Under 10s were unlucky to go down 20-12 in a great game. Best and fairest, Shuaib Swain, Taylah Press and Ryan Vallance. Under 12s had a big win 38-4. Well done to all the team. Best and fairest points Dylan Bishop, Mitchy Basnett and Alex Richey. Under 14s had the week off. Under 16s won 26-6, what a game from the senior team of the club. Best and fairest points Marcus Doran, Greg Press and Sam Press.
In round 2 action this weekend Uralla Junior Rugby League had their first home game.

U8s played well and are improving quickly – great effort from our youngest players. Best and fairest Jacob Collier, Bailey Thackway and Freddie Khan. U10s fought hard but went down to Armidale. Best and fairest Shaoib Swain, Daniel Fullager and Jacob Frazier. U12s played a great game, unfortunately going down 18-4. Best and fairest James Hargrave, Mitchy Basnett and Jacob Howard. U14s won a very entertaining game 28-26. Best and fairest Travis Barned-Hyde, Hayden Lacey and Beau Hargrave. U16s had their second win in a great game defeating Armidale 22-12. Best and fairest Sam Press, Bevan Wood and Jordan Press.
Well done to all teams and a big thank you to all referees, League Safe, First Aid Officers and all the volunteers who worked in the canteen with Lisa Westbury.
