The Armidale Softball Association will offer mixed softball for men and women of all ages on Wednesday, March 7 at their home ground at Norths Soccer Fields, Erskine Street from 5.45pm. The gala evening has been set up to allow males and females the opportunity to experience the sport. It is hoped to repeat the twilight sessions throughout March.
“Armidale Softball are always looking for opportunities to give our members more game time and this is a great chance for our keener ladies to get an extra game in during the week in the lead up to the finals,” said Association President Fee Blevins.
“There will be a free sausage sizzle for those attending, which will take the pressure off cooking dinner with the aim of having fun in a relaxed environment.
“We have equipment available for anyone who needs it.
“There has been a lot of interest from junior boys and men, so we are looking to establish Junior and Senior Mixed Twilight Competitions later in the year as a way to provide more opportunities for all.
“We are very keen to hear from anyone interested in playing in a twilight competition, including our existing members.”
Armidale Softball are also keen to hear from those who have recently moved to Armidale who have an interest in softball.
