The first ever Professional World Surfing Champion Peter Townend passed on some of his knowledge to the industry’s next generation.
Peter headed to the Gold Coast campus of the Southern Cross University to meet with students studying for the Diploma of Sports Management (Surf Studies). He was invited to speak with the students at the Bilinga campus last week.
An excellent speaker, Peter is originally from this region and is a former Tweed River High student.
