A SPEED limit change will be implemented on Thunderbolts Way at Emu Crossing, Bundarra.
Duty MLC for Northern Tablelands, Sarah Mitchell, said Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) has carried out a review as part of the NSW audit of speed zones.
“The review assessed a number of factors along Thunderbolts Way at Emu Crossing including pedestrian activity, road environment, traffic characteristics and crash data,” Mrs Mitchell said.
“The existing 100km/h speed limit on Thunderbolts Way will be reduced to 80km/h from about one kilometre to three kilometres south of Oliver Street at Bundarra,” Mrs Mitchell said.
Warning signs will be in place to advise motorists of the change and will remain for at least a week after the new speed limit signs have been installed.
