Mindygirl’s fourth solo exhibition is about twisted evolution, attaining resolution, representation, creation/recreation and substantiation and will be on at the Kartel Espresso Bar, Cabarita Beach.
“Come on a journey through a world of discarded materials and unexpected mediums to a viewpoint of obscured yet eminent beauty…” artist Mindy “Mindygirl” Clarke said.
Opening night will be about light refreshment and music and a chance to come and share a toast at the unveiling of her newest body of work.
“Most artworks are mixed media on board but this time, think very 3D! All artwork is for sale and will hang from August 5-26,” she said.
“Mindygirl is a lump of clay forever being sculpted by many hearts, hands, faces and places.
“A plethora of interests include: swimming in the ocean, riding bmx, live original music, reading a good book under the shade of a tree, cooking vegan food, singing, painting, photography, design, sculpture, the many forms of creative expression!!
“People Being [when universes collide, our paths coincide, and journeys synchronise] the art that follows, dissecting computers, raiding scrap metal heaps, keeping a keen eye on people’s sidewalks at the time of council clean-up, finding “special interesting things” on the ground and sticking them on canvas!”
